Responsibilities In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes aligned with product specifications and quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and testing manufacturing processes, including assembly methods and equipment. - Analyzing workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow to maximize production efficiency. - Coordinating the launch of new or revised products, setting goals, training team members, and assessing outcomes. - Conducting research to discover new manufacturing techniques and processes. - Working closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee product quality and enhance production efficiency. - Troubleshooting manufacturing challenges to foster continuous improvement. - Ensuring all operations adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.
Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess: - A college or university degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience (5 years in a related field). - A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and production equipment. - Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools. - Strong experience in manufacturing engineering or a related discipline. - Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. - Effective communication and teamwork skills. - Capability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. - Lean/Six Sigma training is advantageous.
Compensation The salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $115,000, determined by experience and qualifications.
