Responsibilities : In this position, you will oversee nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities, ensuring that the highest standards of service are maintained. You will be responsible for managing staff schedules, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating staff development programs. Your role will also involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and promote evidence-based practices.

As an assistant manager, you will play a critical role in driving initiatives that improve patient care and staff efficiency.

Requirements : To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, as per 38 U.S.C. 7403(f). You should be a graduate of an accredited nursing program recognized by bodies such as the Accreditation Commission for

Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing

Education (CCNE). Alternatively, individuals in a master’s level bridge program who have completed equivalent coursework may qualify. Foreign-educated nurses must possess an unrestricted registration and provide validation of their qualifications through recognized evaluation agencies.

Current, active registration as a professional nurse in any U.S. state or territory is also required. Note that candidates who meet educational standards but lack licensure may be appointed temporarily as Graduate Nurse Technicians while pursuing their licenses.
