Responsibilities : As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a vital role in fortifying the cloud infrastructure at Paymentology. Your primary focus will be on AWS multi-account governance, ensuring robust IAM security controls, and automating Infrastructure as Code. Key responsibilities include: - Enhancing Paymentology's AWS cloud foundation, utilizing AWS Organizations and Landing Zone frameworks for effective multi-account governance. - Designing and maintaining secure IAM roles, policies, and access controls that adhere to compliance standards and the principle of least privilege. - Developing and managing Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code to facilitate efficient, secure, and repeatable infrastructure deployments. - Integrating infrastructure automation within CI/CD pipelines to guarantee consistency across all environments (development, testing, production). - Implementing core AWS infrastructure services such as API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, and load balancers for applications and networks. - Collaborating with Platform Engineering and Security teams to ensure alignment on infrastructure standards and operational reliability. - Assisting in troubleshooting and incident response efforts to uphold high availability and performance within cloud environments. - Maintaining thorough documentation in Confluence, including operational runbooks and infrastructure standards for sustainable platform management.
Requirements : - Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, particularly in multi-account environments and Landing Zone governance, coupled with strong cloud security knowledge. - Profound understanding of IAM governance principles, including role-based access control and least privilege policy design. - Advanced skills in Terraform, especially in creating reusable modules and managing multi-environment deployments.
