Overview: Join GE HEALTHCARE as a Field Service Representative (FSR) in Alberta, where you will play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction through outstanding service. This position, based in Calgary, AB, involves servicing clinical equipment such as Anesthesia and Monitoring systems in hospitals and clinics throughout Alberta, as well as extending support to facilities in western Canada. Frequent travel is a necessity, including potential overnight stays to reach remote locations.
A valid Canadian driver’s license is mandatory, and the candidate must be eligible to travel to the USA for training.
Responsibilities : As an FSR, your primary duties will include providing on-site service for installed clinical equipment, conducting preventative and corrective maintenance, and ensuring installations and calibrations meet both factory and customer standards. You will be responsible for completing necessary documentation to comply with customer and audit requirements, offering technical assistance outside normal business hours, and managing repair parts in line with business objectives. Maintaining open lines of communication with customers to facilitate prompt issue resolution and satisfaction will be crucial.
Additionally, you will uphold Quality Management System and Environmental Health and Safety standards, collaborate effectively within the hospital environment, and maintain comprehensive communication with customers and management teams.
Requirements : Candidates should possess a Technical Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in field service is required, with a proven record of exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, particularly in conveying complex technical concepts simply, are essential.
