Private Household in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join their day care centre team. This daytime position requires 2 years to less than 3 years of experience and a secondary school graduation certificate. The ideal candidate will support comprehensive child development programs while maintaining a nurturing, safe environment.

Responsibilities **
You'll collaborate with ECE professionals to deliver programs fostering children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Key duties include organizing creative activities through art, music, dramatic play, and storytelling sessions. You'll guide children in developing essential life skills including proper eating habits, dressing, and toilet training.
Additional responsibilities encompass preparing nutritious snacks, arranging spaces for meals and rest, and maintaining daycare equipment. You'll document observations about children's progress and potential concerns, participating in staff meetings to discuss developmental updates with team members. Administrative tasks include ordering supplies, maintaining records, and preparing detailed reports for parents and supervisors.
Light housekeeping and cooking support round out your diverse role.

Requirements **
Candidates must possess strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal communication abilities. Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, plus regular bending and kneeling. Essential personal qualities include punctuality, dependability, flexibility, and strong ethical standards.
