📋 Job Description

To view the eligibility and qualification requirements of an Energy Industry Analyst, GS-1101, please visit: Energy Industry Analyst Series, 1101. You must have one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 level. Specialized experience is defined as:

Experience in leading teams and/or conducting analysis regarding complex issues related to the regulation of the electric utility markets and tariffs (e.g. energy and capacity markets, generator interconnection proceedings, transmission planning and cost allocation issues, major rulemakings, and cost of service issues).

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including any volunteer experience.
