Responsibilities : As the Engineering Manager for Collaboration Tools, you will take charge of ensuring the success of Figma's Collab seat offerings, which include Figma Slides and FigJam. These innovative products revolutionize the brainstorming, development, and presentation processes by harnessing the power of real-time collaboration and Figma's unique infinite canvas. Your leadership will be essential in expanding our reach to new users and enhancing our presence within existing markets.
You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data, Marketing, and GTM teams to navigate the AI landscape and unlock potential growth for Figma.
Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading and supporting engineering managers and their teams focused on FigJam and Figma Slides. - Collaborating with product, design, and data teams to drive innovation within our Collaboration Tools and promote the growth of Figma’s Collab seat. - Providing hands-on technical leadership to ensure a unified product experience and appropriate technical frameworks. - Recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top engineering talent while also supporting other cross-functional roles. - Cultivating a culture that embraces innovation, teamwork, and calculated risk-taking.
Requirements : We welcome candidates with: - Over 4 years of experience in engineering management, including at least 2 years managing other managers. - A strong ability to align product and business strategies with operational excellence in engineering. - A solid track record of managing and scaling end-to-end product lines successfully. - A passion for building inclusive teams that prioritize customer impact and rapid iteration. - Excellent communication skills, particularly in cross-functional environments.
While not mandatory, it’s a bonus if you possess: -
Experience leading product teams within B2B sectors with a product-led growth approach.
