Responsibilities **
• Serve as on-site IT support specialist from mine site office location • Function as primary IT contact for all technical issues at work site • Handle installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals • Diagnose and resolve hardware failures plus system/application problems • Manage operating system installations, upgrades, and security software deployment • Administer user accounts and email mailbox creation/management • Resolve Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, and Webmail technical issues • Provide application support for Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) • Address network connectivity problems and establish new connections • Maintain wired/wireless networks, switches, cabling, and Wi-Fi infrastructure • Collaborate with corporate IT teams on network and infrastructure initiatives • Execute daily system and data backup procedures • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation • Ensure site operations meet corporate IT standards and security protocols

Requirements **
• Information Technology, Computer Science diploma or related field • 3+ years IT Support Technician or Help Desk experience • Comprehensive Microsoft Windows PC and Server operating system knowledge • Willingness to relocate to Northeast BC • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
