Overview: At Maxmove, we are an ambitious startup on the brink of launching a revolutionary logistics platform focused on the last mile. We are actively seeking a Founding Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company.
Responsibilities : - Lead the development of our core product by designing, refining, and implementing backend services, APIs, and architecture for our logistics platform. - Take charge of our infrastructure, managing databases, cloud deployments, monitoring, and CI/CD processes. - Contribute to the technical roadmap, product direction, and architectural decision-making. - Rapidly prototype and validate new features, including AI-based matching, route optimization, and demand prediction. - Recruit and mentor the first engineers as our team expands, fostering a collaborative engineering culture and establishing best practices.
Requirements : - A strong engineering background with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on software development experience, ideally in a startup or 0→1 environment. - Formal work experience is not mandatory; personal projects, open-source contributions, or a robust portfolio are equally valued. - Proficiency in backend development (Go, Node.js/TypeScript) along with a solid understanding of APIs, databases, and distributed systems. - A full-stack mindset, willing to work across backend, frontend (React / Expo RN), and data pipelines. -
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) is a significant advantage. - A strong sense of ownership, able to take responsibility, act swiftly, and follow through on tasks. - A problem solver who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and independently identifies solutions.
