**Overview**
CROWN Metal Packaging Canada LP's Beverage Packaging Division seeks a skilled Production Operator/Mechanic for their aluminum can manufacturing facility in Calgary's Foothills Industrial Park. Join our team in producing top-quality beverage cans while maintaining cost efficiency and operational excellence.

Responsibilities **
• Operate automated machinery and equipment for aluminum can production • Maintain continuous line flow through quality monitoring and minor equipment adjustments • Perform mechanical maintenance on conveyor systems and manufacturing equipment • Conduct accurate quality inspections and maintain detailed production records • Communicate equipment status and production concerns to supervisory staff • Follow established safety protocols and standard operating procedures • Maintain organized, clean, and safe work environments • Execute additional duties supporting team objectives
**
Requirements **
• Minimum 3 years production experience in manufacturing settings • Mechanical knowledge of pumps, motors, gearboxes, belts, and conveying systems • Valid forklift certification required • Strong multitasking abilities and project management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities • Demonstrated commitment to quality control and workplace safety • Understanding of production line continuity principles • Availability for 12-hour rotating shifts (4 on/4 off schedule, days and nights) • Excellent attendance record essential • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and perform standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling tasks • Detail-oriented approach to all responsibilities

Compensation &
Benefits ** Starting at $30.63/hour with comprehensive benefits including company pension, dental/vision coverage, disability insurance, RRSP matching, and paid time off.
