About the Team

Our team is an integral part of the Finance and Strategy organization, providing both financial and strategic support to the Chief Business Officer. We oversee critical evaluations and executions of high-impact partnership deals, pioneering ecosystem initiatives, and strategic investments. Our focus is on delivering actionable financial insights and recommendations that shape investment cases, commercial agreements, and overall business performance, aligning with Stripe’s strategic goals for growth and optimization. Our contributions are highly visible to Stripe leadership, influencing key decisions across partnerships, product teams, and executives.

Your Role

We are excited to invite a new team member to join us in this pivotal mission. The selected candidate will conduct financial analyses, develop investment strategies and business plans, monitor financial outcomes, and generate insights for our leadership. This role requires collaboration with various cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering, Pricing, Strategy and Operations, Treasury Finance, Accounting, and other Finance and Strategy groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a financial and strategic consultant during partner negotiations, crafting investment cases and assessing business performance
• Utilize financial modeling, analytics, and benchmarking to analyze the financial implications and success of new initiatives and investments
• Extract analytical insights from diverse partner categories (such as card networks, banks, and local payment methods) to pinpoint and capitalize on strategic opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product and Engineering, Pricing, Strategy and Operations, Treasury Finance, Accounting, and various Finance and Strategy groups
• Assist in creating financial frameworks, metrics, and reporting systems to track key partner metrics and relay actionable insights to stakeholders
• Engage with business leaders to facilitate strategic and financial planning procedures (including business reviews, forecasts, and operational management)
