Responsibilities As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a dynamic team focused on optimizing payment performance for merchants. Your responsibilities will include: - Enabling the team to manage various systems and technologies, tackling problems from start to finish. - Supporting engineers in crafting solutions for businesses, from burgeoning startups to established global brands, ensuring they have the necessary tools to thrive. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, design, infrastructure, marketing, and operations to drive results. - Leading initiatives that foster an environment where your team can excel and engage with the broader Stripe community. - Partnering with Stripe's recruiting team to attract top engineering talent. - Mentoring and developing team members to help them achieve their career aspirations. - Participating in engineering-wide projects as part of Stripe’s management team.

Requirements We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record in product development and a genuine passion for leading teams through complex challenges.
