Product Engineer Intern at SumUp - Berlin, Germany

As a Product Engineer Intern, you will play a crucial role in shaping our internal People products, leveraging your creativity and technical skills to enhance user experiences.

Responsibilities : In this hands-on position, you will: - Rapidly iterate on product concepts, transforming ideas into functional prototypes in short timeframes. - Engage in practical experimentation to explore and evaluate various product directions. - Collaborate closely with Product Owners and subject matter experts to refine and enhance user flows. - Document insights and learnings from your prototypes to guide product development decisions.

Requirements : To excel in this role, you should have: - A curious mindset, with a strong desire to learn new technologies and improve processes. -

Experience in developing frontend applications and a passion for building engaging user interfaces. - Proficiency in modern frontend development tools such as React, Next.js, or similar frameworks. - An understanding of user experience principles and the ability to view projects from the user's perspective. - Comfort in navigating ambiguity and testing various approaches before finalizing solutions. - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.

Nice to have:

Experience in creating internal tools, familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot, and a basic understanding of authentication and data handling concepts.
