Arnprior Regional Health is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our long-term care team in Ottawa, ON. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives by delivering individualized, holistic care that addresses physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual needs. You'll work alongside a collaborative healthcare team committed to transforming the care experience for our residents.

Responsibilities **
• Deliver compassionate personal care services to residents in a long-term care setting • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary care team members to ensure comprehensive support • Create and execute personalized care plans tailored to each resident's unique requirements • Maintain clear, effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare colleagues • Uphold compliance with the Residents Bill of Rights and regulatory standards • Utilize Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) techniques to enhance resident quality of life • Demonstrate accountability, respect, and empathy in all care interactions

Requirements **
• Graduate of an accredited Personal Support Worker program • Demonstrated knowledge of Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) and Behavioral Support Ontario methodologies • Valid CPR certification (must be current) • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities • Proven teamwork and collaboration skills • Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize tasks and responsibilities
