📋 Job Description

**Overview**

DownHome Solutions is seeking a dedicated Customer Support Engineer to join our mission-driven team helping nonprofits provide life-changing loans to communities worldwide. This remote position offers the opportunity to support organizations that deliver small business funding, payday loan alternatives, and first-time homebuyer assistance to those who need it most. You'll be part of a distributed support team working East Coast hours starting at 8am.

Responsibilities **

• Master our lending software platform and understand our diverse community lender client base • Deliver exceptional end-user support through Zoom, email, and digital support channels • Diagnose technical issues and collaborate with support colleagues and developers on solutions • Conduct manual quality assurance testing for software improvements • Engage in team meetings to enhance customer service and product development • Take on additional specialty areas based on your interests and skills, such as sales/marketing, web design, data analytics, or compliance

Requirements **

• Excellent English communication and analytical abilities with strong time management •

Experience working with multicultural clientele • Outstanding interpersonal skills and team collaboration capabilities • Technical proficiency including Google Suite, Excel, and basic accounting • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, community development, or equivalent experience • Preferred: lending industry knowledge, loan servicing software experience, CDFI program familiarity, credit bureau reporting understanding, accounting software knowledge, Spanish language skills

This US-based remote role requires candidates who are customer-focused, friendly, flexible, and passionate about social impact through financial services.

🕐 Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (full-time)
