We're seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician ready to transition from fieldwork into design leadership.

Responsibilities **

As our Electrical Design Lead, you'll ensure every project meets technical excellence and code compliance standards. Your key duties include:

• **Technical Design & Scoping**: Review complex project specifications for feasibility and compliance, handle scoping escalations, and collaborate with drafters on diagrams and layouts • **Sales Partnership**: Support pre-sale technical reviews by clarifying design challenges, providing installation approach guidance, and identifying potential project risks early • **Permitting Excellence**: Validate permit plan accuracy, offer field-informed feedback for jurisdictional compliance, and partner with our Head Electrician on AHJ requirements • **Installation Support**: Ensure project completeness before handoff and collaborate with operations teams on field verification needs • **Knowledge Leadership**: Develop technical resources, FAQs, and installation guides while building comprehensive scoping libraries • **Process Innovation**: Drive continuous improvement by identifying standardization opportunities and addressing recurring installation challenges

Requirements **

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician with minimum 5 years residential field experience • Strong knowledge of NEC codes and practical application skills • Proficiency with software tools including G-Suite and/or Microsoft Office • Excellent communication abilities to connect design, scoping, and delivery teams • Startup or high-growth environment experience preferred
