Responsibilities : As part of the Android Platform team, your primary goal will be to create an unparalleled experience for Android developers at Airbnb. You will: - Innovate and refine core Android frameworks like Trio, our Jetpack Compose screen architecture, as well as our dependency injection and navigation systems. - Collaborate closely with product engineering teams to identify challenges and provide effective, scalable framework solutions. - Incorporate AI-assisted development techniques into your designs to streamline processes and improve overall productivity.
Requirements : To excel in this role, you should possess: - A minimum of 9 years of experience in the industry, focusing on building Android applications using Kotlin. - Extensive experience in designing and maintaining shared frameworks or libraries utilized by large teams of product engineers. - At least 2 years of experience leading projects that involve enhancing developer tools and frameworks.
