Join Airbnb's Trust & Safety team as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer focused on protecting our global community of 5+ million hosts and billions of guests. Since 2007, Airbnb has revolutionized travel by connecting people worldwide through authentic stays and experiences. You'll play a critical role in maintaining the platform's safety and trustworthiness by developing sophisticated ML solutions to prevent unauthorized parties and protect against life safety incidents.

Responsibilities **
• Design and deploy advanced machine learning models that analyze booking patterns and guest signals to identify potential policy violations before check-in occurs • Partner closely with product managers, data scientists, designers, and operations teams to create innovative prevention strategies for critical safety incidents • Process large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to build cutting-edge ML solutions that serve product, business, and operational needs • Investigate complex user behaviors and patterns to understand where safety risks may emerge, tackling ambiguous problems that require deep analytical thinking • Collaborate across Trust Organization prevention teams to develop comprehensive detection frameworks • Work in real-time environments alongside diverse business functions to stop property damage and life safety incidents as they develop
