Responsibilities **
• Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of Product Assessors • Perform comprehensive technical documentation reviews ensuring EU MDD/MDR compliance • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and quality standards • Track team performance metrics, technical capabilities, and employee wellbeing • Drive recruitment initiatives including CV screening, candidate interviews, and new hire integration • Create and deliver specialized training programs for internal teams and external clients • Provide expert consultation on technical and sales inquiries for Active Medical Devices • Maintain exceptional service standards across SGS's medical device certification network
**
Requirements **
• Previous Product Assessor/Specialist/Technical File Reviewer experience at an EU Notified Body for active devices • Four years healthcare product experience (design, manufacturing, auditing, research) with two years specifically in device design, manufacturing, testing, or usage • Deep expertise in Active Medical Devices including monitoring equipment, therapeutic devices, radiation-utilizing devices, and standalone software • Comprehensive understanding of relevant standards: EN 60601, EN 62304, EN 62366 • Strong English communication skills for report review and documentation • Knowledge of Technical File codes per EU Regulation 2017/2185 preferred • English CV required for application consideration
