This role, reporting directly to the Country Manager, is pivotal in driving our business partnerships strategy across the Canadian market.

Responsibilities : In this dynamic position, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships that align with Airbnb's objectives. Your key responsibilities include: - Discovering and assessing new partnership opportunities to bolster business goals. - Establishing and nurturing local partnerships to enhance our market presence. - Collaborating with various business areas to gather insights that can be addressed through partner engagement. - Coordinating partnership activities across departments to ensure seamless execution. - Analyzing potential partnerships for their financial and strategic viability. - Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape. - Building and fostering relationships with prospective partners and collaboration opportunities. - Overseeing and maintaining engagement with existing partnerships to maximize their impact.

Requirements : To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or a related discipline. - Proven expertise in relationship building and negotiation with external executive stakeholders. - A proactive approach to maintaining and enhancing the current partner ecosystem. - Exceptional ability to formulate growth strategies that prioritize both financial success and product innovation. - A passion for growth and a strong business acumen to conduct thorough market analysis and anticipate future needs. - Ideally, you will have experience in consulting, marketing, finance, or business development, with a track record of influencing internal stakeholders and establishing long-lasting external partnerships. Strong critical thinking and strategic skills are essential to connect insights and develop proactive proposals.
