Responsibilities : In this pivotal role, you will oversee an average order volume exceeding 25 million EUR. You will lead and manage the purchasing process, ensuring smooth operations from initial inquiries to the final delivery. Your efforts will focus on reducing procurement costs through strategic negotiations with both national and international partners.

Additionally, you will be responsible for selecting and assessing strategic suppliers, identifying optimization opportunities throughout the value chain, and actively managing risks by monitoring market trends, availability, and pricing developments. Collaboration with production, logistics, project management, and upper management will be key to your success.

Requirements : To qualify, you should possess a completed degree in a technical or economic field and have significant experience as a Technical Buyer in an international setting, preferably within the machinery industry. Project management experience is advantageous, and familiarity with SAP R3 and S4/Hana is a plus. Fluency in both German and English is essential, as is a willingness to travel internationally.
