The User Billing team serves as Stripe's central monetization hub, building platforms that define pricing, calculate revenue, and empower teams across the organization to understand financial performance.

Responsibilities **
You'll spearhead technical strategy for the platform that drives monetization across Stripe's complete product portfolio. Your focus will include developing APIs and tools for internal teams, managing backend systems, and overseeing data pipelines. Key objectives involve expanding self-service billing capabilities to accelerate product development, introducing innovative pricing and monetization features, ensuring billing accuracy and reliability, and enabling finance, strategy, and accounting partners to gain deep business insights.
You'll collaborate with leaders spanning product, engineering, sales, and back-office functions including tax and compliance to shape company-wide strategy. This role involves leading engineering and design processes while coaching team members to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements **
We're seeking a seasoned technical leader with proven experience in platform development and team management. You should demonstrate expertise in building scalable billing systems, managing complex technical projects, and working cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders. Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to balance multiple priorities are essential.
Experience with financial systems, monetization platforms, or similar technical infrastructure is highly valued.
