Overview Join epilot GmbH, a pioneering force in the SaaS industry! We're on a mission to revolutionize the online sales of complex products, particularly in the rapidly evolving energy market. Our aim is to make purchasing intricate energy solutions as simple as buying a pair of shoes online.
We are currently looking for a talented Integration Engineer to manage the technical connections between our platform and external entities, including ERP systems, third-party APIs, cloud services, and partners.
Responsibilities In this hands-on engineering position, you will: - Build and maintain integrations between the epilot platform and external systems (ERPs, third-party APIs, partner services). - Design and implement event-driven, asynchronous data pipelines. - Collaborate directly with integration partners and ERP vendors, from requirement gathering through troubleshooting to ongoing alignment. - Define and manage our cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Ensure robust, traceable, and resilient integrations with clean error handling that goes beyond ideal scenarios. Requirements We are seeking candidates who possess: - Proven programming skills capable of delivering production-ready backend code that performs reliably in a live environment, not just prototypes. -
Experience with cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and managing infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging, along with knowledge of Message Queues and Pub/Sub patterns, which are essential for integration tasks. - Proficiency in REST API design and usage, as developing and consuming APIs is a core aspect of the role. - Familiarity with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2 and API key authentication, knowing when to apply each. - A solid grasp of reliability patterns including retries, idempotency, dead-letter queues, and circuit breakers as standard practice. - Basic knowledge of serverless architecture, with practical experience being a plus. - Proficiency in German and English to effectively communicate with both German-speaking partners and the international team. Become a key player in transforming the way energy products are sold online. Apply today!
