Responsibilities : As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a vital role in fortifying Paymentology’s cloud infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on AWS multi-account governance, IAM security protocols, and Infrastructure as Code automation. Your contributions will be essential in constructing secure and scalable cloud platforms that underlie our global payment solutions. Key responsibilities include: - Enhancing and supporting Paymentology’s AWS cloud infrastructure, utilizing AWS Organizations, Landing Zone frameworks, and Service Control Policy guardrails for multi-account governance. - Designing, implementing, and overseeing secure IAM roles and policies that comply with the principle of least privilege. - Developing and managing Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code to facilitate secure, repeatable, and scalable infrastructure deployments. - Integrating automation of infrastructure within CI/CD pipelines to ensure uniformity across development, testing, and production environments. - Implementing core AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, and load balancers for applications and networks. - Collaborating with Platform Engineering and Security teams to establish infrastructure standards and governance controls that ensure operational reliability. - Assisting in troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis to maintain high availability and performance levels. - Keeping detailed Confluence documentation, operational runbooks, and infrastructure standards for long-term platform sustainability.
Requirements : To succeed in this role, you should have: - Strong hands-on experience with AWS, particularly in multi-account environments and landing zone governance, along with cloud security best practices. - In-depth knowledge of IAM governance, including role-based access control and least privilege policy design. - Advanced skills in Terraform, including the development of reusable modules and multi-environment deployment strategies.
